Should Separation of Church and State Be Discarded?
The term separation of church and state is not found in the Constitution.
The term separation of church and state is not found in the Constitution. The most notable use was in a communication from Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptist Association. Baptists have long held that such a separation is both Biblical and essential for freedom of worship. 1800 years of persecution by government backed churches proves it.
